Managers from Camco, ESP, and GOS participated in a full-day workshop titled “Empowering Leadership: Effective Communication and Strategic Leadership Skills,” held at the Home of Expertise for Management & Finance Advisory (HEMFA) Business Academy. Designed for senior executives, department heads, and decision-makers, the workshop offered practical tools and modern methodologies to enhance leadership effectiveness and communication within Edgo’s companies in Libya.
Addressing real-world challenges, the sessions provided frameworks to help managers lead teams through organizational change, communicate complex decisions, and manage competing priorities. Scenario-based discussions and peer learning encouraged open dialogue on how leadership is practiced day to day, bridging the gap between theory and execution.
A central theme of the workshop was the manager’s role in translating strategy into action. They examined how leadership influences team culture, accountability, and long-term performance, particularly during periods of uncertainty or change.
This focus was supported through four core modules: Strategic Leadership, emphasizing goal setting, timely decision-making, and change management; Effective Communication Skills, covering vision delivery, active listening, and conflict resolution; Building and Motivating Teams, highlighting collaboration, inclusion, and performance development; and Crisis Management and Decision-Making, offering approaches for leading under pressure and planning for future risks.
The workshop also focused cross-company exchange, strengthening collaboration among Edgo’s group companies in Libya. By sharing perspectives and leadership practices, managers left with a stronger foundation for aligned execution and team effectiveness across the companies.
